For those of you who don’t know, Steven Moffat is the reason the last few seasons of Doctor Who have been complete dung. It speaks volumes for my home nation that Who is surging with popularity over what is little more than fan-fiction. His writing is characterized by glimpses of brilliance drowning in a dreary sludge of overwhelmingly mishandled execution. One minute Doctor Who is saving an entire family from evil forces and their own overwhelming grief while simultaneously keeping an entire species from extinction- and the next he is wiping away a tear, staring at the camera, and saying “Aw, human-y wooman-y”. No. Just plain no. I will stand by my saying that Moffat is the worst thing to happen to Doctor Who since it’s hiatus before the reboot. I miss RTD. Welp, that’s my soapbox.
I hope you enjoyed today’s comic. I’ll have another one for you this Wednesday! This arc is closing down to the end and then we’ll start Chapter 4!
In other news, I’m going to be at the Dallas Sci-Fi expo next weekend! Come by and say ‘hi’ if you’re in town!
The last panel of this comic made your entire site worth the read.
Love,
Russell Davies.
Haha thank you so much! Believe it or not this comic was one of my worst in terms of performance and reception. I’m a big fan of TRD’s work on Who and can’t stand Moffat’s run. It seems to be a bit of a controversial opinion though. Regardless, thank you for the comment!
