I worked really hard on the machinery in this comic’s first panel. I, for some reason, got it in my head to try and copy The King’s style for crazy cool machinery that he did. I mean in some of the old Fantastic Four comics you see Reed and Ben with these crazy complex shiny chrome machines and they’re really awe inspiring. I was worried this would be too complex but I made them all a sort of unified singular color like he did with a lot of spot blacks and I dunno I think it all worked out.
Also, every ASMR video should end with a satisfying ‘Ka-Chnnk’ sound. That or Godzillas roar. Maybe a Star Wars laser sound effect? I dunno. Foley artists are dope.
