Ninja and Pirate

God this one took a long time to draw. I was going to make it for Saturday’s comic but that didn’t work out. I also was going to put Cortana in there but I never really got into Halo (I played TimeSplitters and thought myself vastly superior. BECAUSE I WAS) and it was really difficult to get the circuitry and cgi feel of her right in a 2D comic. So then I realized that Pirate didn’t have any of my anime crushes in there so of course came out Faye Valentine because Misty was only appropriate when I was twelve and Kurama was just terribly confusing even to this day. Also, I don’t get the obsession with Jessica Rabbit. I was never attracted to her. I mean, it’s like being attracted to Bayonetta. The proportions are just SO bizarre and out of whack that I can’t imagine anything romantic about her. It just wouldn’t work at all. Plus you know she’s got that whole ‘series of points connected by lines on a two dimensional plane’ thing going on. So there’s that. Anyway, I’m pretty pleased with how this came out and I hope you are too. It’s super risqué but I think the punchline is a good subversion of expectations. Well a DECENT subversion…It’s okay…IT’S TERRIBLE AND I HATE IT AND I’LL NEVER BE FUNNY A BLOO HOO HOO HOO!!
