Badly Doodled is a unique entry to the “being a dad” genre of webcomics in that his son Oskar often helps create the content for the strip. And don’t be fooled by the name! Peter Rasmussen, the dad and creator (or co-creator depending on how you view things) of Badly Doodled can actually doodle quite well! And look at that lettering! He always doodles these crazy distinct and intricate patterns in things like the characters clothes or the backgrounds that breathe a sense of life into the black and white images. Due to the writing process, Badly Doodled is an always relatable strip grounded in reality even though it always has that odd touch of surrealism behind it. It’s probably because he’s from the UK. That makes it weird. U! S! A! U! S! A!
