Beware and Warning is a podcast run by my good buddy Allen. I’ve been on it several times because it is an absolute blast to do. It’s a Choose Your Own Adventure podcast where he reads the story and the guest has to make the decisions on where to go and what to do. It’s absolutely wonderful and you should listen to it because it’s hilarious and I’ve been on it two or three times now. He recently did a run of a limited series of Nintendo themed Choose Your Own Adventure books which both exist and are great because you get to hear him try to do terrible Italian accents. It’s pretty dope.
Thanks for this comic Allen! He’s one of those guys who I really hope doesn’t start a webcomic because he’s good at everything he does. He can draw phenomenally, he writes charming dialogue and really well done characters, and has a great sense of humor. I’m honored he graced me with this guest comic. And the comic he is referencing with Pirate’s shirt is the legendary Questionable Content by Jeph Jacques. The dude puts out five comics a week and has been telling a single contained storyline since August of 2003. It’s unbelievably impressive the scope of his work, as he’s a musician too, not to mention it is fascinating to see his skill grow through the years if you look at the backlog of comics. Dude is a benchmark. Also, his shirts are actually pretty rad.
