There are many elements to making a comic and many more to making it well. Dan Sacharow has mastered one that continues to vex me to this day. His impact text leaves nothing to be desired. Seriously, he knows just how to crack the consonants and vamp the vowels to make the words come alive. His increasingly relevant strip is called Civil Servant Smith and it is about a crude, foul-mouthed, short-tempered politician who was, until recently, governor of an unnamed state. It has plenty of yelling and shouting and cursing and wonderful sound effects to display his craft and his word art is simply flawless. Major thanks to Dan and his magic pen for this guest comic!
As to Volume 2, which I have been working on this January, it is going horribly slowly. My earlier comics have horrible resolution so I have to redraw many of them which is taking a lot of time. But by god I will get it done! See you all Saturday!
