My grandfather received a Purple Heart for his actions in WWII. We would do reports on him in school, ask him how he got it not thinking of how traumatic it might be to relive that time. He told my sister a story about being on a bridge when the enemy blew it up and receiving shrapnel in his rear end. He told me he was blowing up a bridge and his buddy lit the fuse too early and he didn’t get away fast enough and received shrapnel in his butt. He told my mother he was searching for landmines and his friend next to him set one off…and he got shrapnel in his butt from it. We still don’t know the real story. But one thing is certain. His butt got shrapnel in it. Some how.

I have a couple of good friends whose opinions I really respect and they told me to change the final gag in this comic. I would like to shout out to them for lending me their funny pants for this. Thanks fellas. You guys are the best.
