It’s actually a tested principle of physics that this occurs. The Doomometer and Misfortune Index skyrocket whenever something like this happens. It causes an influx of entropy condensed into a microcosm that explosively expands into a catastrophic macro event. Pretty sure it’s one of Newton’s laws. Or Murphy’s. I always get those guys confused.
Planet Comic Con was an absolute delight mainly because of my good pal Brian from Fowl Language Comics who invited me up to come stay with him! It was really wonderful! Of course I thought he meant to bunk at his place so we could attend the con together, but no he meant to stay with him. I haven’t seen the sun in days. But hey the table scraps aren’t bad!
