In retrospect I kind of wish I had Linda Hamilton holding a gun in the fourth panel. Oh well. Hindsight is T-2020 I suppose.
Hey guys, now that this chapter is wrapping up I wanna get down to brass tacks. Look, this 3 year story arc has taken a lot out of me. I’m not sure if I want to keep making Ninja and Pirate. It doesn’t have that much of an audience and is a constant source of stress on my life. As of right now, when this story ends I am going to take a sabbatical, so to speak. I don’t know how long but it won’t be less than a month I can tell you that much right now. I hope to work on other projects in that time and refocus myself and see where Ninja, Pirate, and I all stand. Just wanted to let you all know.
Hey, you do whatever works best for you. I love your comic, and it would be a shame to see it end, but I also wouldn’t want it to keep going at the cost of your sanity (and I’d imagine a lot of the other readers feel the same way). Your well-being comes first, so I hope after this chapter ends you get a long, long rest :)
