Ninja and Pirate

The Enigma of Amigara Fault is an amazing piece of artwork about the horror of compulsion, or even addiction and what it can turn you into. It’s brilliant by what it leaves unsaid and unseen. Junji Ito is the quite possibly the only artist I know of who can legitimately be called a horror icon. The dude’s work is prolific and terrifying. And I don’t get scared by stuff easily. He can tap into the psychological element behind what makes something unnerving and twist it into a spiral of pure decadent terror.
